Tuesday morning the 4 of us got up and had a muffin and a glass of juice and cup of coffee, then got into the showers and dressed to be in the buffet by 9 AM to see if Tyler and James would meet up for breakfast.
Today was another sea day on our way to Labadee Haiti, Riley and David wanted to try the zip line, but the more they were talking, I see one or both chickening out. Max and I just wanted to see if they would do it or not.
The twins sat at a table for 4 and Max and I sat at another table for 4 as well, we kinda wanted to let them have their space. Shortly after 9:00 I see Susan and Kyle coming in being followed by James and Tyler, who looked like they were still diapered.
The boys acknowledged each other and headed to get food and came back to us, but Susan and Kyle did not return.
“So, were your parents mad that you stayed out so late?” David asked
“A little, but mom was not happy that we came back both wearing diapers, but they were too drunk to bother arguing with us and we just went to bed” Tyler said
“So what are you all doing today?” James asked
Not sure, whatever there is to do at sea, maybe watch people do the Flow Rider, see a show or two, sit out on the deck and people watch, not really sure, just maybe relax..
“Tomorrow we are going to the beach, going zip lining, well David and I are, Max and Jason are too big of chickens”. Riley said
“Yeah, we’ll see who all the chickens are when you get up there” Max said
“What about you two?” David asked
“Today, probably the same.” James said
“Mom and Dad said we could do one activity, but we could not decide, The zipline sounds fun. Would you mind if we joined you?” Tyler asked
“We don’t mind you joining them, but ask your parents, as I am certain they will have to book it at guest services if there is still tickets available, and sign all sorts of waivers.
Right about when then Kyle and Susan walked over with a plate of food each along with a bloody mary, guess they got to get a little hair of the dog after last night.
“Good morning” I said
“Morning” Susan said behind her sunglasses.
“Fun night last night?” Max inquired
“Just a little bit, but isn’t that what you do on vacation, get sloshed and have a fun time” Kyle said
“I’m not really a drinker, really lightweight, 2 mixed drinks or more and I am toast. Max can drink a bit more, but he does not as he is supposed to be the adult” I said
“So any plans for today or tomorrow? David and Riley are going Ziplining, or I hope they will and not chicken out” Max asked, trying to open the door for Tyler and James to be able to go Ziplining as well.
“Hey mom can we do the zipline as well?” James asked
“Yeah can we?” Tyler chimed in
“You two know that this is not like the zip line place up near home where you go station to station. This is a 500 foot long zip line going from the top of one mountain clear over the beach on the other side. I don’t want to pay for something and you two get up there and back out” Kyle said
“We know, and we may scream the whole way down but I won’t back out.” Tyler said to which James echoed.
“Well we will see if they have any spots available or not, those things go pretty quick and need booked in advance, but we will check” Susan said.
We talked for about 15 minutes before heading out to see what was happening on the ship. Riley and David took off on their own, only checking in a few times before dinner. They had a pretty uneventful day. We met up about an hour before dinner and they said that they had been to a show or two, watched people on the flow rider, played mini golf, hung out in the arcade and ate.
They said that Tyler and James had met up with them and they hung out.
They said their parents were able to get them zipline tickets. They also said that they gave Tyler and James a couple more diapers, as they said they were going to wear diapers tomorrow on the zipline.
We reminded them that we only brought a set number of diapers, and if they ran out they would be out. Granted we brought way more than they ever could need, so the likelihood of that happening is slim, but we wanted to instill that they had a limited stock.
Dinner that night was mainly more small talk about what business ventures Max and I are into. I had mentioned that we owned a campground and were in the middle of an expansion that would put some cabins and a bunkhouse on the newly acquired land.
The teens ran off and did their thing after dinner, and Max and I decided to try our hand at trivia at the bar… sadly we suck at trivia. We ended the night back at the suite turning in early for the night at about 11:00, shortly after David and Riley returned and went to their room for the night.
