This story is a it different. The main character is non-verbal and communicates with an AAC device (A computerized voice that is played from a tablet device)

Dialogue from his AAC device will be marked in a blue font like this. The language may be a little broken, with small connector words missing or phrases backwards. 

Well it didn’t really, had another heart surgery in August 2023, another big stent in my aorta, this time at the university hospital.  Had to stay a few days because they had to put a drain in my spine to guard against my spinal fluid pressure going up when they were putting the stent in.

To top it off when i was getting released nobody would come get me, but Brudder did.  My previous stent surgery I had taken that friday and monday off work and worked at home that next week and was fine.  So when the surgeon said it would be 7 weeks off work I was kinda stunned, but I really did need it.

In the fall I met with William and we went to Gatlinburg for a long weekend. It was nice to get away for a few days.

2024 better be better.
