The next week we were going to head to Max’s Parents and then into big city to do some shopping.
Riley was finally off punishment and not in diapers any longer, but I could see David was still wearing diapers, and he had to just show me his new bed. It had the rails around it like mine in the RV, but they were removable for when he decided he did not want them.
Maria said they were finally unpacked and she has a mountain of laundry to do now before the kids go back to school. She made it clear to David that he would NOT be allowed to be diapered at school, only at home, so he better get used to using the toilet this weekend.
Max and I got ready to leave and head into the big city to the mall and surprise his mom and younger siblings were going too.
“Hey David, you want to ride with us?” Max said, to which he was ecstatic to do so.
“Grab your diaper bag and you can go with them. Parking at the food court OK?” Maria said
“Yep” Max replied.
“Where’d this car come from?” David said, expecting the bright yellow Fiat, which was left in Florida.
“This is my old car that I keep at my house, for when I am not on the road. When I first started out I had a motorcycle/scooter, and I bought the Fiat on the road.” I said
“So how is it having your own room?” Max asked
“So it has been awesome having my own room and a crib. I tried my cloth diapers last night and they are so thick, which is ok at home, but I like the throw away ones when we are out” He said
“That’s great buddy” I said “I like my cloth ones too, but I just can’t do them on the road because it may be a week or so before I do laundry at a laundromat.
“Oh Yeah I guess that would be hard then” He said
We went to the mall, which had a Disney store and of course I had to get more stuffies that I don’t need, or so daddy says, but what does he know. Then we stopped at the medical supply store that has ABDL stuff. I got a new onsie, changing mat for myself, and some more variety of diapers that I wanted to try.
We then went to dinner at a place called The Back 40 Junction. It had a seafood buffet in addition to a traditional buffet. After dinner, we bid everybody goodbye and Max and I headed back home. I had taken the time to plan some orders to be shipped to our favorite FedEx store near Orlando so that they would arrive not too long after we were set to return.
We spent the next 2 days working out our plans for the next couple of months. Plane tickets were booked for the return to Florida. The plan was to hang for up to a week in Florida go up the Gulf coast of Florida, and along the gulf into Texas. Then make it out west to Arizona and do some boondocking near quartzite for a few weeks or so before moving to another region.
We packed up the night before, and in the morning shut everything off and turned back the heat. The plan was not to be back this way till around spring break time in April, so we made sure we had warm clothes and clothes for the warm weather too. I was sure gonna miss my crib and high chair. The portable high chair was shipped down earlier that week.
Normally I would have had ordered a car to take us to the airport, but my folks said they could do it. They picked us up and drove us to the airport and away we go. Two hours later we touch down in Orlando, get an Uber to the RV park, get our stuff in the RV, cool it down, go to FedEx and get the packages that we had shipped in; it took two trips to get everything. Then we went and got Zorro who clearly showed his disdain for being left at the boarder for almost 2 weeks. We got back to the RV and he ran in and plopped on the sofa, hissing every now and then when we walked by.
We spent the afternoon and into the evening unpacking, rearranging, fixing little things, flushing and filling up stuff. We gassed up the Fiat, and the RV and the next morning hit the open road. We headed towards Tampa that first day, did some filming for the vlog, introduced Max on camera.
He had been behind the scenes for some time, he was heard but not seen. Which he wanted to do until he had become more comfortable about being in a public video.
While in the Tampa area we experienced some of the local flavor. We went to Ybor City and had some Cuban food at Carmine’s. I liked the Deviled crabs, crap we ordered like 4 of them. Then I got the Cuban roast pork, Max got Bistec De Palomilla, which is pan seared steak with onions. Max ordered a cocktail and I tried it, still not big into alcohol. I just got Root Beer. After dinner Daddy stopped into a cigar store and smoked the stinky thing as we walked around until late that night.
The next day we went to Tarpon Springs and indulged in Greek food at several places, hit the Greek bakery. I ended up getting Gyro and fries, Daddy got some K-bobs and dessert put us in a sugar coma.
We went to a beach and just sat there and watched the sun set.
“It never gets old, you can watch a sunset a hundred times and it’s still like the first time. It is even better when you have somebody to share it with”, I said
“You know there’s no place I’d rather be than wherever you are., Daddy loves you so much buddy” He said as he leaned in and kissed my forehead.
I laid my head in his lap and he stroked my hair for what seemed like hours, but it was only maybe 30 minutes until we saw the beach patrol rolling up and we had to leave.
I was all tuckered out by the time we got back to the RV. Daddy got me in my PJs and off to dreamland for me. This is everything I ever dreamed of.
I was awoken in the night by Max getting up and using the bathroom and then coming back to bed. “I’m sorry, did I wake you…. Go back to sleep it is not time to get up now” He said as he climbed back into bed.
What seemed like 5 minutes was hours when daddy woke me up. “Hey sweetie, I hate to wake you but it’s getting close to check out time, did you want to check out today, or stay” Max said gently waking me up.
“Ok, daddy, I’ll get up. We can go on the road.”
